Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui brings over 18 years of experience in the world of telecommunication being a maestro of mayhem. He is currently working as the EVP- Digital VAS and New Business Robi Axiata Limited, the second largest Mobile Telecommunication Service Provider in Bangladesh. Mr Siddiqui has been working in the field of new business development, VAS and Innovations and has been into revolutionary new core services in Bangladesh and beyond such as nation’s first wireless broadband Zoom, nation’s first MCommerce service ecosystem, award winning services on M-Advertising, M-Insurance, M-Health, Wholesale business, Big Data Analytics, Block chain, wholesale business and so on. His recent feathers in the flocks are launching Binge, nation’s leading OTT platform, first big data analytics based alternate credit scoring engine, Gaming conventions with Axiata Game Hero, transforming Bdapps as the national Appstore and winning CommunicAsia on innovation for health services. Prior to joining Robi Axiata, Mr. Siddiqui has worked for Citycell and was part of SingTel innovation work group as a shared resource as well as SingTel SMG resource, he also served Grameenphone briefly heading the data business. He set up nation’s first Towerco “edotco Bangladesh Ltd” another SBU of Axiata Sdn Bhd as the Director, Sales and Business Development and after successful establishment of the company he was seconded in Axiata headquarter in KL, Malaysia to overlook Malaysia, Srilanka, Myanmar, Pakistan, Cambodia and Bangladesh operations as the Head of Product Development of edotco Group Sdn Bhd. As a transformer and change management experts he is keen to hone his career and life towards more creativity, fun, building the nation and agility for Digital Transformation. He is a regular speaker of various local, international and digital events organised by World Telecom Congress, ComAsia, IQPC, NeoEdge, MSN, Informa and so on. After completing his graduation from Independent University of Bangladesh in 2002, he worked in all the major telecommunications of this territory home and abroad and meanwhile, He has done his MBA from Cardiff Met University, UK, executive education on transformation in Digital Age from INSEAD and Digital transformation expedition from IMD, Asia and currently undergoing his Doctor of Business Administration thesis from UWTSD. He is an amateur song writer, musician and singer plays multiple instruments as his favorite hobby. He is an active philanthropist, founder of MFJF Foundation www.mfjf.xyz, trustee of Shitakunda Health Trust, a former volunteer of “Bidyanondo Foundation” as Lead- Strategic Partnerships and Communication and so on.
