Mr. Wahidur Rahman Sharif is the founder and Managing Director of Digicon Technologies Ltd. since its inception (2010). He started Digicon Technologies Ltd. as one of the first BPO Companies in Bangladesh with a vision to provide unparalleled expertise and cost effectiveness to existing business processes with a mission to deliver solutions through right sets of people and technologies to ensure maximum value for business.

Being educated on MIS at University of Texas (Arlington), Mr. Sharif launched his career as Manager, MIS, Administration in Placemark Investments, an Envestnet’s portfolio consulting group, located at Addison, Texas. That eventually led to 11 years of employment with remarkable performance on business strategy development. His expertise includes liaising with officials of government departments and regulatory bodies, managing multi-disciplined teams, resolving any conflicting priorities and sophisticated financial management. Under his years of experience in the IT industry, Digicon Technologies Limited has evolved from a newly founded company to a market leader in a short span. His charismatic and visionary leadership is being recognized as Digicon Technologies Limited has been awarded ASIA’S Best Employer Brand Award, 2017; Bangladesh’s Best Employer Brand Award, 2017; ‘ICT Achievement Award’ at Digital World 2015 and many more. He also worked for various projects under “Digital Bangladesh” initiative.

Mr. Sharif is also one of the co-founders and Managing Directors of Digicon Global Services Limited, Techcity Bangladesh Limited and Tahoe Communications Ltd. At the same time, he is serving as the President of Bangladesh Association of Contact Center & Outsourcing (BACCO). Moreover, he is also a member of FBCCI, BASIS, and Savar Golf Club. Mr. Sharif firmly believes; development of a country lies in the development of its youth. So, all his initiatives focus on creating more opportunities for our youth and raise their livelihoods in this Digital Age.
