Professor Mostafa Azad Kamal is presently working as the Director of the eLearning Center at Bangladesh Open University. He is also a professor at the School of Business, Bangladesh Open University (BOU). He has done his graduate studies at the University of Namur, Belgium, on International and Development Economics. He is experienced in instructional deign in ODL, Elearning, and OER. He got specialized training on ODL at Waterloo University, Canada and also completed Certificate in Instructional Design in Elearning from Open Polytechnic, New Zealand. He is currently working as a member of the International Academic Board for Commonwealth Executive MBA and MPA programs, Commonwealth of Learning, Vancouver, Canada. He is also a part-time consultant of Commonwealth of Learning for ODL and OER. In addition, he is engaged as the Coordinator and Instructional Designer in A2i-BOU Elearning Project, Prime Minister’s Office. Professor Azad got the experience of coordinating a number of international projects on ODL. Recently, he has been selected as a fellow of Creative Commons on open leadership. He is also working as the CC Education Lead in Bangladesh. Professor Mostafa worked as the Director of the Elearning Center at Bangladesh Open University till August 2016. He visited several countries including Singapore, Sri Lanka, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France, UK, Canada, USA, South Africa, Thailand, Japan, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Mauritius, Nigeria, India, and Turkey mostly for academic reasons.
