T I M Nurul Kabir has spent 27+ years of his career playing as a leading role as the Social & Industry evangelist for e-Development, Telecommunication, ICT for development (ICT4D), Business development and ICT Consultancy. He has a unique quality of experience and contribution in an inclusive manner in multi-stakeholders of Private Sector, NGO & Civil Society, Public Sector policy Makers, Academia and Media. He is known as Transformational Leader, Strategic Visionary, Elite Communicator and Change Agent.

Mr. Kabir is the Secretary General & CEO of Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB) is the national apex body of all cellular mobile operators of Bangladesh. He is also the Policy Advisor of Telecom & ICT Sector.

He has been working as the top level Management in leading National Trade Business Chambers & Associations in Bangladesh; He was former Sr. Vice-President of both Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industries (DCCI) and Bangladesh Association of Software & Information Services (BASIS). He was one of the founders of Bangladesh Telecentre Network (BTN), Founder and Vice president of Intellectual Property Association of Bangladesh (IPAB). He has been contributing HR development and mentorship to the young students as the visiting professor of different Public and Private Universities of Bangladesh.

Mr. Kabir has played an instrumental role in the implementation of policy & process between Government and Private sector in Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Public Private Dialogue (PPD), which contributed to a major change in policy for private sector development. He is one of the founders for formation of BUILD (Business initiative Leading Development).

Mr. Kabir was elected as a member of the .ORG Global Advisory Council for 2012-2018 by Public Interest Registry (PIR) The Public Interest Registry is a Reston, Virginia-based not-for-profit created by the Internet Society in 2002 to manage the .ORG top-level domain.

Mr. Kabir Worked for12 years in a Dutch multi-national company AKZO-NOBEL in the role of Deputy Controller and Head of IT.

Mr. Kabir has contributed for improving the brand image of Bangladesh as a destination for Business outsourcing.

He has led various projects in National and International organizations which contributed to qualitative changes through capacity building and value creation for required objectives. As a national ICT expert, he contributed to the National ICT Policy formulation committee and Telecommunication Policy and played a role in formulating the National ICT Roadmap for Bangladesh. NurulKabir has participated and contributed in WSIS Forums and Internet Governance Forums (IGF) on national and international levels since 2003.

Mr. Kabir also contributed in many International and National event as the key note Speaker, Moderator, and Panel discussant. He has been contributing articles, opinions in different national daily newspaper and magazines as a writer and columnist.

Mr. Kabir is an experienced Rotarian passionately working for humanitarian service for the marginal people of the country. He was the past president of Rotary Club of Dhaka the premier club of the Country. He is the District Coordinator, Trainer and Deputy Governor. MrKabir has been elected as the Global Board Member and Chair of Communication, Marketing and Social media of Rotarian Action Group for Peace (RAGFP).
