Rahat Ahmed

Rahat Ahmed is the Founding Partner & CEO of Anchorless Bangladesh, a New York-based investment fund dedicated to allocating global capital in Bangladesh. Since launch, they’ve made investments in various key sectors, including agriculture (Agroshift), fintech, education (Shikho) and logistics (Loop). He started his career at Prince Street Capital, where he invested throughout emerging and frontier markets, including leading their investments in the Dhaka Stock Exchange as early as 2004. In 2016, he helped fund Pathao's seed round in what became his first interaction with the Bangladeshi startup ecosystem. Previously, he co-founded a virtual reality sportstech startup working with Major League Baseball teams and also led strategy at DKMS US, the American arm of the world's largest bone marrow donor center. Rahat has a degree in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
