Mr. AKM Ahmedul Islam BABU

AKM Ahmedul Islam is the Director of BASIS and Chairman of BASIS Japan Desk. He is also Founder & CEO of TechKnowGram Limited and now serving the company as Managing Director & CEO and as Director at BACCO. His 25+ years of professional experience in working in Japan market BPO, outsourcing, and software industry have enabled him to be one of the pioneers in the ICT Industry. From the inception of his professional career, Mr. Ahmed served several multinational companies (NIIT, BJIT, ServicEngineBPO, and AtomAP) and successfully secured Key positions. He leads and represents Bangladesh in many national and international ICT events and forums.

Ahmed was a prominent ICT journalist and technology writer. He served as Senior correspondent of the Bangladesh Observer. He is the founding president of the Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF). He has both Bachelor and master’s degree in applied physics Electronics and Communication Engineering from the University of Dhaka and an MBA degree from the Presidency University of Bangladesh and also ACMP 4.0 from IBA, University of Dhaka.
